This is a three band tone control I built using a old flutter meter chassis. I was able to reuse the power supply and the sockets It is stereo and uses a 12au7 and a 12ax7 per channel. I found the schematic on the web. It sounds pretty dang good! It will be easy to play with different caps and stuff to experiment. The meter was toast so I just put the glass bezel in so I can see the tube goodness!

All DIY hearkens back to the days when every studio did a lot of their own equipment design and building, which is why each studio had its own unique sound signature, and your project does that 100%.
