just started with eagle. man its fun! so ive always wanted to do a board for the lcmp hamptone tube mic pre. here is my take on it. any comments on board layout? i used the auto feature like a billion times till i had something useable. points labeled A,B,C on the board are jumpers.

it uses an on pcb oep transformer.

Looks nice.

Altough while working on the layout i always tried to have an image of how i wanted to look like....

Sugestions: Try to imagine it builted....how would you like it?

You can do it bro!

well i liked that the ground plane was on one side, i liked that a lot of the resistors lined up in a neat straight line??? is that the kind of thing you are talking about?

Well yeah resistors is one thing but theres more

i mean you should use some kind of connectors at the edges of the board.....i mean for input/output....and V+ and 6.3V....

BTW the 100K pot is not a trimmer....

oh i see, thanks good point.  i used the trimmer just to get three pads.  it will be wired off board.

any comments on the position of components with respect to noise?  thats what im most concerned about.
