Is this do-able ???

Luv the DAOC (analag and kubi versions) - frigged about with wet/dry mix  :p and wonder if possible to include "blend" internally "in the box"?
Could/should imagine having a valve buffer from input stage (another srrp stage/transformers etc?) or is it better to do it SS "out of the box"
Don't mind "a bit" of extra circuitry but beats frigging about with extra patch leads ;).
Guru's advice much appreciated :D

You're asking about an internal "direct/compressed" mix control?
It could be done if you don't mind the extra circuitry. I'd be more inclined to do it externally with a mixer, even if it's just a straightforward two-input mixer made especially for the task.

Don't know if it's up to spec on a serious valve compressor,
but I just designed one based on Keef's crush-n-blend that
goes "in the box". It is based on simple 5532s, might make
one more around the OPA 2134 later.

You can dig it up in the original crush-n-blend thread.

Cheers,

Lukas
