How could you fine tune a freq in a pultec eq ?

HI

I have just finish building a pultec eq and i was wonder could i implement a fine tune action in between two frequencies and is this possible with the pultec design

Slightly longer answer: if you got your hands on one of those 365pF air variable caps (commonly used in radio circuits years ago), you could affect a slight trim to the "high boost" frequency--and I do mean slight... as in, inaudible ;)
 
OK that answers my question then .

So how would i go about implementing something like that ,would i have to use a good old ic is their a circuit you could point me to dave..

You could also just add bands, those wafer switches , some of the more popular models have 11 positions, so you can just add caps to the inductor taps.
 
yes i had thought of that too, seems fine tune is not all that thanks for your time lads..
