I am modding an Apex 460 power supply for use in a 251 clone, I found that replacing the 2 68 volt veners that are in series with a 120 volt works good for a 120 output, but I only have some .5 watt 120 volts here. I was considering using 2, can zeners be wired in parrallel for more power? Will that affect anything?

google zener regulated supplies

A hint design a simple zener regulated supply for the max current and power in the zener.  This happens without a load attached.

Then use DC power math to calculate the required power rating of the zener.

I would not use two zeners in parallel, unless they are a perfect match one will be sinking more current than the other and the zener will not "share" current equally.

Look for the GT microphone power supply schematic that was posted here not long ago for another hint.
