I think you will find the pin out is different between the C & L varieties.

Igor is quite specific which BC214 to use if you read the 33609 thread (can't remember which).

Also almost everything Neve seems to use BC184c, which may be another pin out thing. Not sure.

You could Google for the data sheets to find out.

Hi, BC214 will work fine.
I compared them to 214c and bc179c, for sidechain, no
matter, just take ones with correct pinout-ebc.

What is the diffrence between these severals tipes of 184 transistors??..BTW; Do you sell the boards for DIY and another perts?
