I've come across my stock of parts and just found 2 JLM dual JLM99V bare pcbs.
Then, I tought, is it possible to "insert" a 1073/1084 passive eq type between the 2 stages of the JLM preamp ?
Is a buffer needed ? Can just put the EQ as is between the 2 stages ?
On the neve we got part of the 284 connected between the differents Eq Neve cards, what does it do ? unity gain buffer, gain stage ?
Can I "just" put the EQ neve cards daisy chained between the 2 stages of the preamp.
Can someone enlighten me or am I too optimistic about this implantation.
