Granted I have a Control 24 with good pre's in it, they leave something to be desired.

I'm about to get a set of fried pre's just for the possibility of modding them.
(More likely, HAVING them modded)

Apparently they still work, but they're 'super noisy'...... Whatever, I wouldn't know where to start.

What I do know is you guys are crazy talented and it sounds like something that would be simple for
someone such as the likes of yourselves to do..............

Even if I had someone to hold my hand through it, I'm not sure I could do it just because
the IC's. I don't have the means to do the unsoldering/soldering of stuff that small or of that nature.

I can't imagine doing that by hand.

So, anyone willing to take on an interesting mod job?

I will work on getting schematics for the pre's from Digidesign or Focusrite, whichever one holds them.

Also, as soon as they come in I'll take High Res photos of them. Top and Bottom, for you guys to see.

Now, if this is possible, I'd like to look into making them rack mountable. So I have 16 more channels of pre's.

2 PCB's, 8 channels each, and they use ribbon connectors for all the i/o and gain pots, and 3 pin dc power I think.

Could be super fun?????

I have a couple pdf docs with pictures that show the pre's, but not in great detail, but give you a slight glimpse.

If anyone wants to see, email me and I'll shoot em to ya.
