AWESOME FIND! I've heard the posthumously-overdubbed versions of some of these tracks, but not the originals. Thanks for the link--I can't wait to listen to these!

Interesting that these recordings were made about this time of year 50 years ago, too. Hearing him talking to Maria Elena (and having her banging dishes around in the background on a couple of songs) is kind of eerie. Little did they know that in only a few weeks it would all end.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should rent "The Real Buddy Holly Story." I saw it last year--great interviews with family, friends, and the Crickets.
