Hi , Where do i connect the TB_ON from the talkback combiner PCB to in the audio box? (the black and brown wire in the photo)

Good question, from looking at the schematic I suspect the two 100R resistors on the audio board - Igor could you confirm this? also are there two spare leads in the control sub-d cable that are reserved for the electret mic in the remote control?

thanks
christoph

Christoph, it goes this way:
wnen on terminals tb_on there's 5v, talkback signal is combined with audio.

To connect the tb combiner to CRM, use tb_on terminal on CRM audio pcb. They have same pinout.
100r resistors usen in case something shorted from outside, just to save expensive A6833 relay driver.

Hi Igor,

I can't match up the spacing dimensions for the pins on the 1/4" trs jacks with Neutrik or Switchcraft. Can you please tell me what model connectors you used on the tc?

Thanks

Sylvain

This is what I used for the phone jacks:

Neutrik part no. NMJ6HFD2
Mouser part no. 550-20301

Parts fit pcb fine. I haven't tested it yet, but I think the pinout is right.

It means polarized capacitor (ie electrolytic) and then I believe the numbers on the end are pitch of the legs and diameter of the body of the component.

Something like this would work I believe :

I am still getting together parts, and I noticed C15 and C9 are listed as 100uF on the schematic and layout, but 100mF on the BOM. Also is 100mF (100milifards = 100,000uF)  correct?
Thanks, Ben

Use logic :)
I'm assuming that C18, C23, C9, and C15 are all 100U - But I can't figure out why, if you meant 100U when you wrote 100m, you would list some values as 100m and some as 100U. Or maybe I have it all muddled, but there are discrepancies between the BOM and the schematic that make it even more confusing. I really appreciate the excellent kits and your contribution to the forum, and I am trying not to ask for step by step instructions.
Thanks again and Best, Ben
