Gibson Amp Build

Hey everybody, here is a build of a Gibson GA-8T that I put together in a old reel to reel chassis. The output transformer is a Hammond Fender Deluxe replacement. Sound pretty dang good, especially when cranked!

Cool.

That's the way an amp should be.... minimal, just plug in wind the volume (up) and play

Just looked up the schematics..interesting amp with 6BM8/ecl82 tubes.
What speakers are you running it through?

I am playing it through a 10" alnico speaker in a homemade cabinet. Its a 25 watt speaker that Fender uses in their Vibrolux reissue.

would that be the italian jensen p10r?
i just made a 2x8 out of a pair of c8r's i pulled out of a few organs from recylce places.
Little bright, but overall, it sounds very good.
