I just purchased one of the remaining 511 VPR pcb backplanes from your CAPI website.  I'm rolling my own back XLR panel (and 511 rack).

Can you provide the X and Y stepping distances for the Neutrik XLR cutouts  (including the 5 pin power XLR) that match the pcb layout?

I've got the Neutrik mechanicals for them.  So I just need the stepping distances.
The XLR's are on 1.5" centers from left to right. They are on 1.181" centers from top to bottom. This includes the power inlet XLR. The channel 6 input XLR will be dead center of left to right as well as dead center top to bottom, within the 3 space rack layout.

Hey folks, I have just finished up the Pictorial Build Guide for my new style 11 space rack kits. This latest version has LC filtering on the rear of the 9-11 backplane. The filtering is mainly for the new cost affordable switch mode PSU that I just added to the store. PS: there is no harm in using the filtered rack with a linear PSU.

Or some sort of germanium/1066 type thingy?

Either way, can I get 10 kits of them?

Thanks!

I just added a new FET HiZ Plug-In module to the store for use in the VP312DI preamp. It replaces the old FET1.

Details are on the product page here http://capi-gear.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=571

Jeff,

I was wondering if you have an ETA when you’ll have the xfmr for the dual vpr floorbox psu .

Also, are your going to make more of the 508 backplanes or, because they a special order, do I have to go about ordering them differently?

I plan on getting both the single bay kit and dual vpr psu.

Thanks!
The new batch of VPR toroidal transformers just came in. I literally stocked them on the shelf a few hours ago. I need to update the store stock.

I was not sure about the old 8 channel backplanes. You are the first to ask about them. If there is a demand I will order a batch.

Ok, is it going to be the same way with the modular console buckets /metalwork?
Duh, I kinda forgot about all of that for a second. I have lots of stock there so I will indeed get another batch of 8-channel backplanes ordered up.

After a small wait, VP26 faceplates have arrived putting the VP26 full kits back in stock.

hi jeff,

I am wondering if you're working on anything new?
Would love something like the API 529 stereo compressors.. there are not too many interesting ones out there in 500 format.
also would love to see a diode-bridge stereo comp with dry/wet..etc :)

just my 2 cents
