Hate to bore you Gurus, but I thought I would take a shot before parting it out.  It's kinda groovy.

Circa 1970 Gibson G-115 w/4-10s, can't find a schematic, but not that it would do me any good.  Checked the solder connections, and no burnt parts.  Replaced a FRIED 22 ohm 2W resistor by this coil thingy leading to the speakers.

I bring it up on the variac and about 1/2 way up it already has a loud (60 cycle?) hum.  Main caps are good.

"Tested" the power transistors, (4) 2N6254 with a 20meg VOM.
-Reading ohms from emitter to base, three had 3meg one way and open the other (or maybe over 20meg), one had 3meg & 14meg.
-reading from emitter to collector, 2 were open, 2 read 10meg.

Don't know what I'm doing or if I'm in the wrong spot.  Just trying to minimize the ol' landfill.

Thanks in advance, or if you front the postage I'll send it to you  :p
