does any one know where i might find TIS98 transistors or perhaps an alturnative that spect for 60v collector-emmiter

The TIS98 has been out of production for a couple of decades.
MPSA05 or MPSA06 are very good subs.
 
I kinda figured it was out of production but I could't get any confermation before now. I thought $11.97 for a transistor was a little steep I'll look at those subs Tamas

I would use the MPSA18.
The TIS97 is still manufactured by Fairchild though.
 
OH!

MPSA18 are pretty high Hfe BJTs. I have a buncj in here and some measure up to 800.

I think this would be nice as input pair in an opamp.
