Hi!

If you want some help, you need to give the model of your pre...and what is your problem!

there no medium here!

Cheers!
Jr.

sorry it`s Sony MXP-2000 Mixer Input Mic Pre EQ Module MPX2000 MCI
i just bought from ebay.
i understand you are from france ,i also speak french
i hope you will be able to help as i don`t know the connection for power supply input and output
Merci

Look at John Hardy site.
He did previously had some modules available to fit instead of the MXP.
He has the pin connection available!
Thanks.

I have not found the schematics, I mean free!
but if you got some money to put in this:

http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350119109094&translate=yes

but maybe a fellow member could provide you this... ::)

I seen that, maybe (so not sure), the mxp2000 is the little sister of the mxp3000...same design...but it could be totaly wrong!

so maybe it could help:

BTW you can find on the links below some good PSU for this project.

je peux pas t'aider plus, je ne connais pas  trop ces preamp!

bon courage!

The only information I have is for the mic preamp card format of the Sony MXP3000 series. My MPC-3000 mic preamp card data sheet (already linked earlier) shows the pin assignments for the connector, marked directly on the p.c. board as shown on page 1. But, as mentioned, it may be a completely different design compared to the Sony 2000 series.

Beyond that, I have no experience or knowledge. Good luck.

John Hardy

hello,
I do have the schematics as i own a mxp2000 mixer. I can send it to you. You will have to be patient a bit.
because I do not spend much time in the studio at the moment.

best

maxime

You can reverse engineer it. Get the chips datasheet, and follow the IC pins/lines to see where the +, gnd, input, output lines are.

I've just uploaded pinouts on the groupdiy gmail account,
they're called mxp2900,
but Imho they're the same as in the 2000.
I someone has more documentation, I'm interested in getting a copy !
