Sony MXP3000 cap question

C9 on my 2 channels needs to be replaced and i have the values in bi-polar not polar would it be an issue to use them instead? If not, why?

Thanks for any help, need to get these finished my wife only lets me work on one project at a time

It's there to keep any DC from the pot. Better keep it polar.
Polar will not affect the sound.

You've got bipolar electrolytics? Yes, you can fit them. I don't see an issue with having effectively one half of the cap unbiased (depending on how these caps in particular are constructed).

Well, I'll give it a go and if things get hairy I'll get some polarized elec. in there.

Well, I've got the bipolars installed and so far so good. I guess if anything were to happen, it would be while I'm tracking with them and praising them highly ;D ;D ;D
