This thing sat around for months after being half built. Then after I got the first bee up my butt and nearly finished it, one of the FET's failed in one channel so it sat around for a few more months as I occasionally took it out and looked it over with a magnifying glass, gave up and put it away.

Finally with gswan's help, the gain reduction FET was determined to be the problem. Luckily I had a back up pair of FET's from my matching session. Those solved the problem and like a miracle it was actually very easy to calibrate both the Q bias and meter tracking. I must have done a pretty good job of matching.

It sounds awesome.
Thanks Jakob, Mnats and Gswan!

I used Nichicon PW's for the lytics, Wimas for the films, PM1000 meters, OEP in and out transformers, and par-metal case. The front panel was a bitch to drill, it's so crowded.  Took awhile to figure out how to measure so everything would fit.  I also added a switch to switch between the input transformer and the IC balanced input. Works quite well. It's a 4 pole switch, switching between both the input pot and input connector locations.
