when turning up the air band at any frequency (say 10Khz for example) do you also get a level boost of up to 5dB at lower frequencies that should theoretically not be affected (i.e. 200Hz).

just trying to figure out if this is intricate to the circuit or if I am doing something wrong.
thanks!

How much are you affecting the 10k frequency? (meaning if you put 10k by 5db, you get at 200hz, 5db of boost too?)

I do notice some +- small gain on lower (than the setting) frequency when the airband is set up on 40k, which in my mind made sense since the shape of the curve is not a 90 deg angle..Am I clear????

I must admit I never noticed it on the other other "air" frequencies, but I don't use them very often either.

cheers,

Nico
