Hello,

After reading mixer meta several times and looking at a growing pile of DOAs on my desk I decided to build a small 2:1 mixer for my dj'ing needs. Here's what I wanna build:

- two unbalanced stereo inputs with switchable RIAA pres
- two aux sends
- discrete gain stage
- booth/main/headphone unbal. outputs.

I am familiar with NYDave passive mixer and I know how to calculate resistors and db loss, but now, since everything is unbalanced I'm looking for ideas for output stage. I've got gar2550s and melcors for that. I don't think I'll need an output trafo but then, I'm not sure about impedance issues.
I am also looking for ideas for aux sends.
Lastly, any cool schematic for RIAA pre? or once again two stages of DOAs with riaa transmitance?

I'd be grateful for any input. And I'm not like full time dj - don't flame me please  ;)

I have a Neumann Transformer balanced RIAA and balancing amp unused in the shelf. If you are interested pm me

thanks for the answers, I think I'm gonna breadboard this circuit:
p25_fig4.gif

and then try to run it with gar2550. any other DOAs recommendation for ultra low noise for the first stage? I've got an unverified one sided layout for FetBloak somewhere on my hard drive. Might be a good reason to test it :)

Still looking for a solution for two aux sends. I'm googling a lot as well but I'd appreciate any suggestions.
