I think that there needs to be an Accountability Website Accountability Czar, and perhaps an Accountability Website Accountability Website- we have to know where all IT bucks are going.

With the government spending $797B USD in taxpayer money on a stimulus package to jump start the economy and lower unemployment, there's much fear of misuse and abuse.  In order to try to preempt such fears, the Obama administrations launched a new website, Recovery.gov, and recently it worked to revamp the site to make it more accessible

They need an Irony Czar.

I hope someday we can laugh about this, but they are deadly serious about the politics, and I worry about some of the incidental casualties. It looks like they are mounting a major offensive against the CIA just to rescue Pelosi from her lame public claims that she never knew what they were doing. They will dredge up something sensational enough to take the heat off of her, but at what cost to the intelligence community.

Throwing the Iranian protesters under the bus in an attempt to rescue cutting some kind of a deal with the mullahs is not only short term thinking but won't work if the new Iranian revolution continues to take on a life of it's own. (More strikes and demonstrations with high level splits among religious leadership).

Here is the text from Obama's speech in Ghana yesterday. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5iXHQkTrA9IUUQBC9WHPK3ZMK_ukAD99CBFM80 I kind of like a lot (not all) of the words, but what he says is never as much of a problem as what he does... (remember watch his feet). His speech hits on a lot of the same points made by Bush and Clinton on their visits to Africa but of course there is powerful symbolism with these comments coming from a black President. I hope the words resonate with the continent.

I didn't care for the symbolism of visiting an old slave trading terminal, but I am getting used to that, like his visiting Dresden in his same trip to see the concentration camps in germany before DDay. One radio talks show guy suggested he just paint "We're sorry" on the bottom of Air Force One.

I think we could also use a BS CZAR... (insert your own joke here).

Here's one for the Irony Czar. Guess what becomes of experimental stem cell therapy when you have government clerks deciding who can afford to get what healthcare?

I believe we just need to bleed them some more... 8)

The abuses are overwhelming. One that is irritating to me at the moment is how Gates is trying to cut back on expensive weapons system to better position the military for current and future missions, while the congress reinstated the weapons contracts to save jobs in their districts.

I thought it was amusing that a bill was offered to make congress join whatever health program they craft for us. All but two voted against that one.  8)  Hypocrites who think we are so dumb they can get away with this behavior forever... I sure hope they are wrong.
