How will your cell phone number show up on caller I.d. in the U.S.?

For me they show as the dialing number, just as if the caller were in the States. This is the same for calls to my Verizon landline and ATT cell.

I was just in the UK and the few calls I made back to the US came up as my own US number + the 01144 country code. I know this because I was calling myself to try and retrieve messages and the number is still on my caller ID. I use AT&T for what it's worth.

My brother lives in Norway - his calls show up as "+47....", 47 being the country code for Norway.
And I am speaking of US cell callers using their, various providers phones to call me from overseas.
