Hi folks,

can anybody please explain what I have to do to get the Neumann W 492 bell-EQ-curves more narrow ?
Referring to "Audioxs" papers "page 2 of 4" I thought it´s done via R24, but I can only get it wider.

Thanks !

just find all the dcr and take it out.

there might be some you could reduce in the inductor by using bigger wire and a bigger core, and/or drop the series resistor if there is one, but how would we know, as we have no schemo to gaze and ponder.

Sorry ... I thought the Neumann W492 is a popular project at The Lab ...

So here´s the schematic-link from audiox:

Telmar,

This looks like a pretty standard state-variable filter, by far the most common implementation of a 'parametric' equalizer.

Do a Google search for "state variable filter" or "state variable eq" and you'll find plenty of resources.
