Few quesitons for G Pultec?

Hi,
Will a 1:1 600 ohm input transformer work for the input of the filter section?  I have some older sowters I'd like to use.
Also, The greater the value of the cap on the high end boost, the less the K-htz value.  Is this correct?
Also, what would be the result of using an Audio taper on both the low and hi end boost as oppose to a linear on one of them (I forget which one at the moment)

Low is using Log curve. Using same value Log in the place of Lin would result in a odd boost curve.
