hi!!

i just wanna know if the difference
of the High & Low Position of the G9 Low cut
is the :

- the Frequency of the cut ?
or
- the Slope of attenuation ?

thanks very much :green:

As I remember the circuit I would say it's different frequencies.

Best regards,

Mikkel C. Simonsen

It is possible to add High and Low shelving EQ in G9, style UA 610?

sorry if incorrect topic.

Cheers

Yep. Both are simple 6cB/Oct - at ca. 80 and 160Hz

Could you please explain how you get these frequencies? In my calculations I get cutoff frequencies of approximately 150 and 340Hz.

Yes, very simple: I measured -6dB points :) Dunno why, really.

They were found by experimentation, not by calculation, and sound pretty good - think of them as female and male vocal presets.

Thanks for the insight Jakob, much appreciated!
I guess I'll have to do my own experiments then...  ;)
