True Systems mic-pre schematics
« on: September 14, 2009, 05:42:07 AM »
Hi,

Anyone seen any of those +/-24V schematics of mic-preamps from True Systems ?

Just got curious after reading the Behind The Gear article in the latest TapeOp.
Probably nothing new, but one can never have seen too many schematics.

It's just out of interest, I'm not intending cloning.

Thanks,

  Peter

What I remember is: MAT-02 input followed by 2604 Burr Brownies. Transformerless, of course.
The guy who designed it used to work for Burr Brown, btw.

Thanks for the info, was wondering if it'd be some all-discrete contraption or hybrid or fully integrated.
The mentioned +/-24V supply rails in the TapeOp-article do indeed (just) fit the supply voltage ratings of the '2604.

Thanks,

  Peter
