just a Q.   can we use the same build thread as the old API 525 you designed a few years ago?  or is a new build thread needed?

Has anyone built one of these new designs?

Only me.
The same build thread should do, but there are fewer parts now, so........

very nice.. Is there a source for the grayhill?

Is the input amp based on anything known? 2510 or urei or something?

cheers!

Yes and yes.

71BDF30-02-1-AJS is the ideal, but the non shorting will do.
Urei. An LL1540 can be used instead of the opamp.

I just realized I had originally posted in the old thread, then found this one but now it's a bit clearer.. You said there is a source for the gray hill?

Good to hear about the Urei.. didn't want to build a 2510 and have to replace it when it burns up like the originals!

thanks!

Hi Peter -- I see that these are sold out & you're looking for a group buy of 25 to make more.  I'd be interested in 2-4 units if you're keeping count.  Thanks!
