Hello,

i found an old kids keyboard on the street... one that does animal noise is well...

i want to connect it to my sherman filterbank...
what i did... i used a resistor high enough to become around 1 V for Signal
regular there is a speaker with 4,5 V and 47 mA...
for some reason it does not work, i only get hum noise... but when i earth + of the speaker
input is fine but very low...

how can i convert the Speaker of that Toy into Line Signal  ;D

thanks for any advice

i have now made this curcit, and i have about 1 V at the output...
but the sound is very low and also distorted... when i have it connected to
the mixer i have no hum, at the sherman i have serious hum...

can a curcuit with a NE5532 help?

This may not be the most scientific method but most of the circuit benders just replace the speaker with a 1/4" jack.

Since your trying to isolate it from the input of the Sherman and the Toy has a small amplified output. You could probably just run it to a small 1:1 transformer and be just fine.

i used a 10 K resistor and placed it on a spot between the sound chip and the transistor (c9013) which connects to the speaker...
at that spot i have 0,8 V and a loud signal without any distortion or hum

thanks for your tip, a transformer would be a good idea because of the impedance
