Probably something fell on him or he fell from the stage.

Hopefully his family finds piece in the ruff waters there presently in.

Officials said Ladanyi fractured his skull after falling 13 feet during Vissi's performance at Nicosia's GSP stadium. He also suffered multiple fractures to the ribs and chest when he slipped down a gap between the stands and the ground level at the venue, just before the start of Vissi's concert.

According to reports, Ladanyi's family is honoring his wish to donate his organs.

...suffered multiple fractures to the ribs and chest, serious head injuries and fractures to the skull after falling five metres down a gap between the stands and the pitch at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia, just before the start of Cypriot-born Vissi’s concert.

He was immediately rushed to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remained in critical condition over the weekend.

A hospital spokesman said yesterday that a decision on which organs can be transplanted will be taken after establishing what medication the victim might have been taking prior to his fall.

Strovolos police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of Ladanyi’s fall.

Before Vissi’s Friday night show in Cyprus, the producer slipped and fell off of a ramp leading up to the stage, striking his head.

Another sad loss.  :(
He did some excellent sounding records. Jackson Browne's "Lawyers in Love" still ranks among my favorites.

Makes me think of Bruce Fairbairn ten years ago, who died in his sleep - cause unknown.
