hello,
I'd like to change the 2 PCC88 and the 4 PCC189. Do i use matched pair?
Where can I buy the tubes?

  why change tubes? are they shot? how do you know?



  I'd try EAR first of all, Tim is really helpful, and very reasonable for spare tubes. (at least he was last time I dealt with him, which was at least 12 years ago)

Hello,
the Vu doesn't move when the 660 is On.
I've no schematic and no info about the tubes (only the ref : 4xecc189 and 2xecc88).
;)
 
I would not assume, that the tubes are shot, even if one is gone, the VU should still move. I guess something else is wrong. Do you hear compression working? How does it sound?
Maybe it is just a loose solder joint.
