goin down slow with a 600 ohm splitter, why?

because we ain't never done us a splitter before, until now.

a moment of solace  for the about to be dis-membered... :-[ ??? :( :-\ :'(

ok, thank you,

and know, we march the victim out onto the gallows of despair, the bridge of sighs...

nothing stays the same, now it's time for change>

terminal block, because it is about to be dis figured and mangled, my donation to xfmr heaven,

when you split a signal without external power, divide power in half to each branch,

there is a magic ratio for a transformer that supplies the most signal for the least noise,

ouch, a chopped LS.    What are you doing with all these great cans and cases?  And LAMS!!!!

used to waste the case, but now that i know how they come apart,

this one is weird, inductances vs turns, here is how the turns go:

Coil A:

first winding> 1/2 sec #2 ( pins 9 -11) 314 turns - 4 layers
E shield
second winding> 1/2 sec #1 (pins 6 -8) 441 turns - 5 layers
E shield
third winding>1/2/ pri  (pins 1 - 3) 314 turns - 4 layers

Coil B: Repeat Coil A only reverse wind all sections

so the dcr and inductance  is balanced, but is not indicative of turns (see above chart)

this is done by tweaking wire gauge and turns and E shields , pretty good job,

final turns:  628 pri to 755 any sec.  ratio: 1:1.2 , so i was dead wrong on my prediction of more current, less voltage, it is the exact opposite,  :'(

hey howabout a UTC A-24 outie?  ;D ;D ;D ;D
