Hi All,

just a few things i have finished...do we have a place to post finished builds? maybe we should get a special place for this...any hoo...

2 Pultecs point to point with original input Tx - sounds killer! also its silent, -98dB noise floor...waiting for knobs ...thanks Aaron  ;)

2 dripp Redds - i have made some 48v boards, just need to fit them- these make my SM58 sound like my Neumann!

2 TGs - my fav compressor for destroying drums.....outrageous sound.

made all the cases- did all the graphics with lasertran, apart from the pultecs which i engraved...

hope all is well with you guys,
Pete

Not very exciting insides i'm afraid...

i was counting on your boat ???
(i need holiday  ;D)

great builds as always

cheers
kam

oh the boats is a coming - in fact after looking into the whole boat thing, its a lot cheaper in the long run to hire a boat, there is a company near me that you can join for a £2.5k a year and you get unlimited use of the boat as long as you book in advance- so that's what i did...no maintenance cost, no insurance - the boat is fuelled and in the water and off you go!!!!!

WOW.
Did you buy the original TG Meter or did you print the  black scale?
If you print the scale it would be great if you can send me the grafix file? ::)
Greets from Cologne

no its not the original meter - i think its the retro20?? a good friend on here gave me the graphics - Andy - sintech is offering the real TG meters in the BM- which i think behave much better - i had to put a 2k resistor across mine to get it to work properly..

thx all..

P

Hey guys,

on the tx for the tg's I used carnhill..

On the knobs i'm not sure, from banzai though I do remember that,
I'll have look see for you...

Cheers chaps!
Pete

The face-plates on your Pultecs look very authentic - did you say you engraved them yourself or got someone to do that for you? (if so who?)

hey thanks guys!

re the Pultec panels - I paint them and I did the graphics in AI, then i get them done locally to me. I get the aged look just by sanding a bit too much around the edges in various places...

Thanks chaps,

Pete
