this is the best sounding output for a guitar amp i have ever heard, i need to know why!

for years i have wanted to know why. i got a pair from charlie kittleson at VTV, and they rock.

i expect many tricks inside this thing,

maybe a 5-4 peerless, maybe a freed, does anybody know who made iron for Fischer?

so i have one in the amp, amd one to do with as we please.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

if this is not the most boring shot i have ever posted, my sincere apologies,

Heard some good sounding guitar amps made from tube PAs and home tube mono amps, never heard one with a Fisher output transformer.

I want to see this one.  Is it for a pair or quad of 6BBQ5?  I want to build a ~15-20W head for grind/dirt/grit and cannot decide between something Marshall 18W like or more Voxish.  Would like both 12AX7 and EF86 channels.  Anyway, output iron is one of the decisions.  Let me get that popcorn started while you gather your instruments of deconstruction...

A P

ok, then,

ok, pass the shotgun.. i'm checking out.
OMFG will you check out that splice?

i have never seen anything like this transformer in all my dying years. by far the most complex.

Mercury Magnetics did Not wind this transformer, i know that. this is the real shit right here folks.

there might even be people who don't want me to unwind this muther f*cker.  :D

Hey, man, don't give up!  You said it yourself in the first post: " i expect many tricks inside this thing."  Well, there you go!  Tricks = splices.  You may have to update your magic transformer documentation sheet to handle this baby!

i need a video camera, or one of those german guys with a diary,

"i am disconnecting the blue wire..,"

"Ich bin Trennen Sie das blaue Kabel... "

"i am disconnecting the green wire..."

"Ich bin Trennen mit dem grünen Draht ..."

"Brace For Impact!"

"Machen Sie sich bereit für eine Explosion!"    ;D  :D

you are most welcome, my friend.

Props to the coroner.  You've uncovered some wacky stuff this past week or so.  Reminds me of that cheesy show (with hot assistants) Breaking the Magicians' Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed.  CJ--you need some hot assistants for your new show Breaking the Winder's Code: Transformer's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed!

we have a weird secondary, there are two 63 turn windings in parallel, then the rev wound bi-fi,

there is a four ohm winding, and then 16 ohm, the 4 ohm sucks big bananas for tone,

so if you wind this, you could leave out a lot of excess baggage that you don't wanna claim,

This stuff makes me wonder if any of the current production OTs have the magic like this one.  Heyboer, Mercury Mag, Edcor, Hammond?  Is anyone doing it like this anymore or am I going to have to wait for one to show up in a greasy cardboard box in some dude's smelly van at the DeAnza swap meet?  Inquiring minds want to know.
