Hi I'm intersted in building an 1176 clone (ref:   http://mnats.net/1176.html , http://mnats.net/1176_bom.html).  Would anyone that has built this clone before have a specific mouser.com bill of materials list as the one on the site is a little too vague with regards to the exact type and designation of components.  This would be a huge time saver for and greatly appreciated.

Hello, welcome to the forum.

Note that one of the things that take more work and time in construction DIY projects is precisely the location and preparation the lists of suitable components. In addition, there are many variables that sometimes make it difficult to stand firm in one list.

For questions about specific projects like this, please type in the lab thread specific forum.

I'm just in the middle of building one and have a mouser project which I can share with you, or send to you as an excel file.  I've already noticed that i've missed a couple of bits, but if you PM me I will send it to you.

There are a couple of BOMs already.  All you really need to do is put in part numbers and quantities.  BTW, we all go through this it helps you learn exactly what your getting.  After a couple of projects you get pretty efficient at ordering stuff...  Advice, double or triple up on quantity as your gonna get addicted to this diy stuff and the extras will get used up.  Also its usually cheaper to buy 10 resistors than it is to buy 8.

Specific component types are a matter of personal taste.
But I've built a few of mnat's 1176 boards, and I can tell you from personal experience, just build the thing!  You won't be disappointed no matter what components you use.
