Guitar amp tech hour/rate - US- EU ?

Hi guys,

What would be a reasonable hour rate for a guitar amp tech in US and Europe ? I really have no idea, I would like to have a base, so I won't get suprises.
I'm about to buy a nice amp in the states, but it needs some services, so the seller propose me to do it locally.
I would like to have an idea of the difference cost, if there's any.

Average bench rate for an amp tech in Los Angeles is between 60-75 Dollars which is around 40 -50 euro if I converted it correctly...

Depends on the town.  Here in Austin it's $45-$60 an hour.

The cost of GL is based on blanket coverage, type of work, and payroll exposure.  (which reminds me I should probably renegotiate my GL now that I have less employees).

1st you pick a policy.  I carry $2 million personal injury/property damage with an additional $1 million vehicular.  My deductible is $2000.00 & my line of work is electrical contracting (one of the more expensive trades to insure).  My payroll exposure was for 18 people (it's 4 now).  This General Liability policy cost me a hair over $650.00 per month.

I'd bet a 1 man amp repair shop could be insured for about $100.00/ month.
