first off, I am planning on using mogami bulk cable: http://www.markertek.com/Cables-Connectors-Adapters/Bulk-Wire-Cable/Bulk-Audio-Cable/Mogami-Wire-Cable-Corp/2534.xhtml

with the connectors being neutriks female and male: http://www.markertek.com/Cables-Connectors-Adapters/Audio-Connectors/XLR-Connectors/Neutrik-USA-Inc/NC3FX.xhtml

and I guess my question is: this will work, right? Also, if anyone knows the difference between the 2534 and the 2893 cables that would help :)

if you have any suggestions drop em' on me. thanks!

Doubt there will be much difference in sound between the 2 cables. But the 2893 will have a much shorter lifespan if you intend to use it for stage/gig use. If it is for fixed installation then it'll be fine.

I buy all my stuff at redco audio they have really good prices, but I buy the redco quad cable and redco connectors. redco quad wire is like .39 cents a foot they have mogomi 2534 for .91 cents. there 2893 is a little more expensive. prices also get cheaper as you buy more. I swear by the redco cables and connectors the ones I made sound way better then the ig quality monster cables I had. Look them up on tapeop message boards (TOMB) I'm not the only one who likes there stuff as good or better and your cables will cost a lot less.

2893 from pacific radio was .75 cents a foot. It does sound really good but then again I use it for studio use. Would I take it on the road? No.

Why are you planning on buying quad cable? is there a lot of RF in your area?  If you wanna go mogami and are looking for durable mic cable for stage and studio, go with mogami 2549. It's not quad cable  but it's good.
