1176 REV A w/Hairball case COMPLETED
« on: January 17, 2010, 08:50:01 PM »
Here she is, the SharkStripe 1176.  8)

UTC 0-12 on the input, Mogami hookup wire, lot's of Hairball Mike's parts in there, Meter, Case, Ratio/Meter switches. She clean, quiet and sounds amazing. I've been tweaking the circuit a bit too. Just finished mixing a rock album and this guys all over it.

Here's some shots.

Thanks to everyone here for all the help and encouragement, Mnats and Ed Anderson for their great boards and transformers.

A special thanks to Mike @ Hairball for his wonderful case, parts and support!  8)

That is a Russian military surplus pot that I scored on Ebay.

Sealed, heavy duty, very smooth action.

I bought a bunch and have a extras if you're interested.

I don't think so, it's 2U and it's definitely not a Par-metal case.  8)

What Neve's are you racking?

Ah, so he is...  ::)

That guy contains 2 - V72's and a pair of Langevin AM-16's that I'm getting ready to finish up.

Just need to drill the front panel and wire em up.  8)
