Thanks,

You can't really tell from the pics, but I used the middle divider panel as a semi-AC-shield. There are holes in the panel to allow the heater wires to poke out and go directly to the heater pins then back out behind the panel. My first LA2 had a little hum at high gain, so I wanted this one to be bullet proof, and it's dead quiet noise-wise.
what's with all the knobs on front?
Yes, I ask same. Like 1176 in 3U. Did you exchange schematics or all pots are in front.
Nice job :thumb: :sam:

The two knobs next to the meter are a multi-turn zero adjust, and a rotary switch to select between GR, Output, and Meter out. The other three big knobs are gain, reduction, and limiter response. Stereo adjust has been omited.

Nice work!

Yea, neat and tidy inside...there's something about a nice layout- I gaze for hours at old gear that has that certain "something" to its construction...

.....but it takes time, effort and planning to pull it off.

Great stuff Ethan, take a 10 minute break and get ready for the next project
