Earl Geddes wrote Audio Transducers, designed some speakers, and helped popularize oblate spheroid waveguides.  Say what you will about his tone and demeanor, he knows his stuff.  I was pleasantly surprised to discover that his (formerly $300) software package is now available free on the Gedlee website: http://www.gedlee.com/speak.htm  Enjoy!

George, thanks for the link.
I have downloaded and installed it, just had a brief look.
I think it won't replace WinISD, which is more user-friendly AND supported, but it has some interesting possibilities with horn evaluation. I'll go at it deeper.
