Again, as with the previous amplifier topics, krell cloning is well documented and several versions of pcbs are available at http://www.diyaudio.com.

was thinking of buying a used but these are fairly cheap kit ...
someone on this forum has had experience?
I do not trust forums "audio or hi-end ". I think in these forums sometimes unrealistic concepts perceives
 
I don't know about kit on a Krell as they build their own transistors but as a Krell ksa 250 owner I can just say "this animal is worth every penny you put in it"
It's the kind of amp that makes you look at other brand like is it a real amp here???
You can't go wrong with Krell and the factory keep maintaining old version of their amps.

No personal experience, just hearsay - but there seem to be a consensus that among krells KSA50 sounds the best, and then sounds degrades with KSA100 and so on - more power, worse sound...
