Anybody got any favourite books that they would like to share..
I am talking about how the gear was put together rather than the theory or recording techniques
If I start with my favourite perhaps others can chip in
Good Vibrations: History of Record Production
Alan Parsons (Foreword), Brian Eno (Foreword), Mark Cunningham....

Good at the beginning on stuff like what the Tom Dowd set up in the Atlantic Studios was (no eq on the board - three Pultecs used as outboard, Mics grouped into networks (aka busses)...)
Good book...
Guys any others?
