Help!
I opened up my Aphex 651 and noticed that the opamps are all socketed.
OOOoooOOO! Time for hi-voltage danger.
It's hard to see what's in there now from the tiny print, but it looks like I have
7 pieces of "M9118 LF 353N "
and 8 pieces of "NE5532N FK87668 9135VH"
What would be good updated replacements? Typing these into Mouser isn't helping too much. This unit was made in '91, so I imagine that there are faster, more efficient opamps I can toss in. The unit as it stands is good, tho it does have a bit of hiss when I crank the input pot.
PLEASE! Suggestions for opamp upgrades? And will i notice much of a difference?
