Just finished building this last night and tested it today. ;D
Works at 12VDC.
Would also work at lower voltage... 4.5Volts down to 3Volts. (but mA consumption increases)
Powered by a portable Tekkeon battery.
Still Need to design the daughterboard that will contain the switches, indicator leds and 48Vdc-dc converter.
