Hello,

Does everyone have the proper values to enter in the machine setup of a SSL 4000E computer, to drive a A820 through a lynx ?

Thank's very much,

Thomas

The SSL doesn't drive any machines through a lynx.

The lynx is parallel and incidental.

FIRST you need to MAKE SURE that the tach pulse rate jumper inside the drop-flap on the front of the Studer is set to 'low' (which is 32 pulses per second, or somthing like that, instead of about 520 or something similarly insane!) Then you need to use the machine name on the lynx which ends in "L" ...such as "Studer A827-L" or similar.

That's it. The rest is geography.

...or history... or mathmat... well, the rest takes care of itself pretty much.

On the machines page, use the correct pulse number. -You can figure this out by doubling the pulse number from the 15ips reference number inside the machine if you're running at 30ips. Forward/reverse direction sense... -who knows? -who cares? -just look it up under the !TES menu and use whatever information it gives you.

Accel/decel/pessimism factor, I just use whatever numbers work... it's easy.
