7818 and 7918 on API clone pcb, is that a good idea ?

I nearly finished my API 312 pre.
I mounted all components on a eurocard style perforated board.

I have a really nice bipolar reglated powersupply +24/-24 volt that I want use on that project.

My question is , Can I put the 7818 and 7918 on the API pcb, somewhere around the area of the 2 powerdiodes?
Will I run in trouble with hum, etc ?

No, DC don't hum. Be sure to use local decoupling with a common ground close the - terminal on the Vregs. They greatly benefit from some beefy caps on the output terminals too, like 470-2200yF - be SURE to use diodes across the Vregs though! See app notes..
