Hi Everybody :D

If you've got a BOM or a Mouser project for any of the pro audio DIY projects out there, please share it here. Let's keep the community of DIY going strong with easy access to info on parts lists for the projects we all know and love. Cheers!

Heres my G SSL compressor BOM. Prices are updated as of a few days ago. Also, double check this if you plan to use it, as I think I ordered some extra parts for a different project.

Not yet. I just ordered my second GSSL with a new meter that I sourced off of Ebay. I will update once its all built and operating. Hopefully it works, but its for a 2u case, rather than a 1u like my first one.

DIY = Do It Yourself

Don't you guys find it more fun to experiment with different components and see which ones you like best?
If you want a standardized parts list, buy something from a retail manufacturer.
Or maybe it's just the masochist in me that really enjoys the experience of searching through component retailer websites to find what I'm looking for  :)
Honestly I've found great components I'd have never otherwise come across had I not spent a couple hours wading through mouser, digikey, and the like.  Part of the joy of DIY is creating something no one else has.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against sharing parts lists, but I think you sould experiment as well.
Just my two cents.

Search ebay for 1mA DC meters from simpson, weston, westinghouse, dejur, western electric, ge, etc...tons of em.

I posted this in the 5003 help thread.

I was really looking for someone to confirm these parts would work OK.
I'll try here:

OK,

I did the best I could on this.

Here's a Mouser cart with the parts that weren't included in Peter's kit. Save the pots:

Please anyone feel free to make suggestions/alter this if something won't work, it would be much appreciated.

I tried to size the caps to work, some of them may be too big, but it's all they had in stock.

My other question was about the IC. I put TL071 and 5534 on there (assuming they are the correct parts) and some 39pf caps for the option cap. But, what's the difference?? I'm assuming 5534 is better because it's more expensive? I'm probably going to take the TL071 off the list, but just for reference.

Jeff, will the switch caps you stock work for the switch? What about your PCB mounting hardware?

cheers all
Eric

I just did an update to yours.  I think it I may have a few larger voltage values that fit the space.  I will post them once i can confirm them.  Your list had a few random Resistors as well.

Here's a Mouser BOM for the G9 project. It is not all the components you need but all the ones you would get from there if building a G9. Cheers!

i am a noob myself and would like to get the shipments in a couple of days and build the units .. see that all is good and then post it cus i dont want to give bad information  ;D
(to build the units will take obviously more than a couple of days  :D

Here's the MNATs 1176 Rev f/g build at Mouser

****** IMPORTANT NOTE *******

I like to order extra parts to have around so the number of components of various values may be more than you need. All components values came straight from the original BOM but I may have added more than needed. Check against the original BOM so you order the number of components you want. Cheers
