REVOX G36

Hello i´m oldie but newbie and i´m only reading here  ;D A friend of mine here in Swe got one old Revox G36 in great shape We have tested it and it works great . I´ll post some pictures now too.

We tried to record both with the condenser/dynamic mics and everything seems to work.

Vu meters are not moving while playback only when we record and we dont know how to calibrate it either.                           

we do not have any manual or schematic .Maybe some of you got any ?  It would be terrific.


and what is A I II Cathode follower output              B Cathode follower output

Is there any chance to put a signal through the G36 from a DAW withaout to push record ?

one more thing about a foam . As you can see it is very old and we shall change it but should the foam go all the way up ?

Nice sounding machine , even at 19cm/sec speed !
You can get the book from REVOX in Switzerland ... i found mine asking at the factory directly 
Yes the foam should push up  the screen  against the READ head .

Yes we was amazed how GOOD it sounds. No hiss or noise whatsoever.
