12BH7A Tube Glowing on LA2A

Hey guys,

I have 2 custom built Bloo LA2A's that I made 5 years ago.  I'd never noticed until today, but the 2nd unit (which I don't always favour as much for some reason), has the 12BH7A tube glowing bright, while the other one does not.  They both seem to work the same functionally.  Is there any reason why this is so?  The tubes are identical, I think...I can't tell at the moment.  Is it possible that some tubes glow and some don't?

Hi there,

As you have 2X units, try swapping the tubes. You can then identify if it's the circuit or the tube showing the difference.
