was thinking about doing the humble hifi black box passive studio monitor project.
Cost for drivers ~ 338$
cost for cross over parts ~1100$
wtf ???
speakers to be powered by 2x 150 watt gainclone power amps
(I know realistically 10-20 watts is loud for these speaker >85 dB sensitivity)
I see 400v caps and 500 watt rated inductors in the schematic
just curious about real world specs and how much power individual parts would need to be rated for
any thoughts ? I'm still a noob about this
