I'm sure there's probably no seriously cheaper path to a full monitor controller than buying your kit, Igor. I didn't intend to start a price discussion anyway, just figured it might be interesting. 50€ for an unsymmetrical audio pot replacement is just a litle more expensive than buying medium quality pots and probably gives way better quality and reliability.

Anyway, good to know you bought something from him and it wasn't obvious crap at least

BUT, for the spirit of DIY, I still dig my switcher.
One of those balanced input relay attenuators looks to be a worth-while try.
