Hello all,

Could not find any connectors here in my country and so i decided to DIY  - hope it will last for sometime till i figure out a way to make a better one or get one without spending much $$$.
The Connector is made of cut-out cable sleeve with the Female XLR pins inserted in it. The pins had to be stretched to fit the bigger male pins on the STC mic.

Here are the pics that i would like to share.

Nice one.

A guy was selling tonnes of them on eBay recently for £10 or so. Gutted that I didn't buy any as I'm short of one for my 4033.

Damn...i missed it, guess i should be checking on e-bay more often...
It's my first vintage mic and i love the sound and hope to source for more.

What is Coles or AEA charging for these connectors these days?  I'm remembering $40 way back in the '90's.

From the AEA site, the XLR adaptor is $75 and the elastic suspension is $60, not including shipping charges and etc..
